The Wellbeing Service is an NHS community-based collaboration supporting people from age 4 years upwards in Brighton and Hove who have mild to moderate depression and anxiety.
We see people with:
Depression
Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Low Self Esteem
Adjustment Disorders
Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)
Coping with illness/chronic health conditions (e.g. diabetes, cardiac, respiratory)
Health Anxiety
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Panic Disorder
Single Event Trauma resulting in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Social Anxiety
Specific Phobias
Types of support we offer:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Counselling, including Specialist Counselling for the Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) community
Groups to help with such issues as worry and anxiety
Brief Interventions offering practical support, advice and information
